Recycled packaging and new look

At DL Chemicals we strive to reduce the impact of our company as much as possible, based on our vision of fully committed to a sustainable future. We do this in all possible areas such as mobility, energy... An important factor in reducing our impact is the packaging of our products. Since last year we started using recycled materials for our packaging.

At the same time as this transition to responsible packaging, our products will also receive a completely new look & feel that meets our commitment to clear communication.

PCR packaging

PCR or 'post-consumer recycled' packaging is packaging made from plastic waste. PCR products are made from recycled plastic from discarded materials from households, commercial, industrial and institutional facilities. This gives packaging a second life and greatly reduces the amount of plastic waste.

The PCR cartridges we use consist of 100% recycled material. You can easily recognize them by their black color.

The buckets we use consist of at least 50% recycled material. The content of recycled material is indicated by a clear symbol on the packaging. The PCR buckets can also be recognized by their black color.

New look - clear communication

At the same time as the switch to responsible packaging, our products are getting a completely new look & feel. We pursue two important goals: uniformity and clarity. We simplify and clarify communication with the user.

Standardizing our packaging

All products from our range: from silicones and adhesives to cleaners and primers, will appear in a standardized layout. This ensures greater visual recognition of our products, clarity and peace on the shelf.

At the same time, we want to clearly distinguish the different categories from our range from each other using an accent color. We have divided our range into 10 main categories based on product type. Each category has its own characteristic color. These colors are not only used on our packaging, but are also reflected in communication on the shelf, in our new catalogue...

Clear, user-friendly packaging

The packaging itself uses clear pictograms that can be understood in all languages. The user can find more detailed information via a QR code that links directly to our website if desired. These pictograms and QR codes therefore replace the large text blocks on the cartridges. The suitable surfaces are also mentioned in clear bullet points. This way it is clear at a glance for which applications the product in question can be used and what the specific benefits are.
