Rubio Monocoat is an ecological Belgian company that makes high-quality wood protection and colouring in one layer for both indoor and outdoor use. Our products are highly ecological, sustainable and innovative and offer a solution for every wood species and type. In addition, our extensive colour range provides endless creative options!

We specialise in single-layer, ecological applications. For example, our wood finish Oil Plus 2C makes a molecular bond with the wood fibres, giving you better protection. In addition, our latest outdoor wood oil DuroGrit makes use of our patented FibreGrit technology to add a lot more UV stabilisers, providing an extremely durable UV protection. Lastly, our wax cream WoodCream can also be applied in one layer and offers a long-lasting self-cleaning and water-repellent effect. This one-layer principle has many advantages: the products are easy to apply, you avoid overlaps and you can work much faster. Moreover, many of our products don’t contain VOCs and are certified: Oil Plus 2C is Eurofins Gold, Food Contact Compliance, Toy Safe and many more. Thanks to our high-quality and safe products, Rubio Monocoat has grown into a global player that is active in 82 countries and whose wood treatment products are applied to more than 80,000,000 m² of wood per year.

Rubio Monocoat wants to invest in the future by making innovative and safe products, but also by taking full responsibility for our social responsibility. We make investments to become net zero by 2030 (scope 1 & 2) and support the Peruvian charity Aynimundo for the long term.
